National Honor Society

Mekeel is proud to have a chapter of the National Honor Society.  MCA members uphold the four pillars of character, leadership, scholarship, and service by maintaining a GPA of 85 or higher, serving 20 or more hours per year, and acting as role models for peers and younger students as they help with organizations such as Toys for Tots and Journey Through the Body with St. Peter's Hospital, work with elementary students and teachers as tutors and classroom aides, sponsor food and winter clothing drives, and more.

 

Tri-M Music Honor Society

The purpose of the Tri-M Music Honor Society is to inspire music participation, create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, and promote leadership in the music students of secondary schools. The Mekeel Christian Academy chapter does this through the sponsorship and promotion of music events in the school and through fund raising that supports and benefits the music department.
