Parent-Teacher Fellowship

We view the school as a partner with parents in fulfilling the parents’ God-given responsibility for the education and training of their own children; authority over children is derived from the parents, not the state. The ministry of MCA would be impossible without the vital support of parents in many areas.

The Parent-Teacher Fellowship (PTF) sponsors a number of activities and fundraisers to benefit our students. Besides providing important educational resources for teachers, the PTF has an important role in assisting the scheduling of parent volunteers. Some of the ways parents volunteer in the school include

  • Duties (recess, lunchroom, playground)
  • Library helpers
  • Chaperones
  • Hosting class prayer and praise meetings
  • Fundraising
  • Room parents
  • School calendar
  • Serving refreshments at school events
  • Auction support
  • Building and grounds assistance
  • Teacher assistance
  • Family Fun Fair assistance
