Secondary Academic Overview

SAM_0140

Our secondary program (grades 6-12) is designed to continue training students in soul, mind, and body, with a specific view to preparing students for continued success beyond high school, whether at an institution of higher learning (in the last decade 98% of our graduates go on to college/university/Bible school) or a career. The testimony of our alumni is that MCA prepared them well for these next steps; alumni serve in many different kinds of professions around the world.

Emphasis is placed a strong academic and spiritual foundation in the middle school years (grades 6-8) on which the high school program (grades 9-12) will build and expand. Honors  and AP courses are available (see Downloads for specific course information). In addition, we also offer two courses in conjunction with Davis College, Binghamton, New York, that may be taken for actual college credit (see Courses for College Credit). Our Guidance Office assists students in their course selections to help prepare them for college and career options.

Students have several co-curricular options in the areas of athletics, fine arts, and service (see Student Life) to help round out their education while at MCA.
